4. Reminder to remove transit bars

To avoid the risk of damage, the

transit bars must be removed before

the machine is used for the first time.

See "Installation and connection" for

instructions on how to do this.

After removing the transit bars (if this

has not already been done by your

fitter), press the OK button.

5. Carrying out the initial set up

according to the operating

instructions

The inital set up is complete when a

programme without

laundry has been

run.

^ Confirm the prompt with OK.

Your machine is now ready for the first

programme to be run.

6. Running your first programme

The washing machine has a load

sensor which provides assistance with

loading and instructions on adding

detergent. In order for the load sensor

to operate properly, the Cottons 60°C

programme without

laundry or

detergent needs to be run.

Turn on the tap.

Turn the programme selector to the

Cottons programme.

r 1600 rpm

Duration: 1:34 h

^ Press the Start/Stop button.

^ At the end of the programme switch

the machine off.

The machine is now ready for use.
